After returning from entertaining troops and thanking them for their service he is now off to Rome, Italy. Following the recording of the video for his super hit "Angelito Vuela" in Rome his publicist Sofia Alayon is happy to announce that the Latin king of Urban Music was invited by the organizers of "Festa DiCapannelle" in Rome, Italy. His performance is set for August 3rd for one day only. He will be performing songs from new his album "King of Kings" as well as his classic hits such as "Dale don Dale" plus many more .
“To me this is an honor, not just as a Reggaeton pioneer but as a Latin artist to take our music to so many places. It's a wonderful feeling to be able to return to such an enchanting country as Italy. This is just another step not just for my career but also for the Latin community in general, this proves how we have grown and have become stronger in the USA and in the whole world” said the artist at the time of this release.
In other exciting news, Don Omar made it to the big screen with the mega US hit "The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift" the producers of the movie selected two of Don Omar's songs as title tracks for the movie soundtrack. The songs selected were "Conteo" which has been burning up the US airwaves and 'Bandoleros" featuring Tego Calderon.. The "Conteo" video was filmed in Los Angeles with Vin Diesel and is currently on major rotation on all video channels. He Has been invited by the producers of the movie to take part of the Japanese premiere of "The Fast and The Furious Tokyo Drift" in Toyko, Japan on September 16th. He will also be releasing "King of Kings" the Japanese release on September 13th.
Currently, DON OMAR is hard at work supporting "King of Kings" with promotional and concert appearances in Italy, Spain, Japan, Latin America and key U.S markets.
