The famous producers Luny Tunes were recognized by Billboard magazine as Hot Latin Producers 2006, singling them out as the best producers of the year. Having accomplished a lot over the course of 2006, working with various artists such as Paris Hilton, Daddy Yankee, and others, the producers were recognized as producers of the year by Billboard magazine. It is worth noting that this year, Luny Tunes put out an album produced entirely by them, called “Los Benjamins,” which recently came out and includes hits interpreted by the best in the genre like Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Wisin & Yandel, and others.

Some months ago, the popular reggaeton production team and singers Wisín & Yandel joined forces with rock star Lenny Kravitz to record a song reflecting the spirit of Absolut Vodka. From this inspiration came the song “Breathe,” which will be used for the drink’s promotional campaign in the US. Kravitz's song was later turned over to the Dominicans Luny Tunes (Francisco Saldaña and Víctor Cabrera) to be reinterpreted in reggaeton style, and the project finally went to recent Grammy winner, producer “Little” Louie Vega, who mixed a dance version.

“This has given us a chance to work with Lenny Kravitz, a recognized superstar, and we’re happy to represent Latinos,” said Luny at the time. “We feel very happy to be in this campaign along with Lenny Kravitz. It’s a good combination: the youth of Wisín and Yandel, the experience of Kravitz and the best urban music producers, who are Luny Tune,” Wisín said.
