Reverencias a "El Rey"

ImageLast night Don Omar astonished the audience at Quinta Vergara Stadium during his performance at the XLVIII International Song Festival of Viña Del Mar. Don Omar was also awarded the Torch of Platinum and Gold, as well as, the Platinum Seagull, this event’s highest accolade. These awards add to his recent win at February 22nd Premio Los Nuestro for Video of the Year for the international hit “Angelito”.

The King of Reggaeton performed all his hits and had the audience “Perreando” until 3 am, setting a record for the longest show at the festival and it was the first time the entire audience stayed till the wee hours, on a Monday. The public never stopped singing and dancing to the rhythms of Don Omar, who offered a repertoire second to none, performing “Pobre Diabla”, “Vuelve”, “Dile”, “Dale Don Dale” and many more.

After his stellar performance at Viña Del Mar, Don Omar will prepare for a promotional tour of South America and Spain to promote the release of King of Kings Armageddon Edition, a 2 CD+DVD set containing 4 new tracks and videos for such hits as “Salio El Sol” and “Belly Danza”, which includes dancehall star Beenie Mann.

Don Omar is also adding the finishing touches to his newest album as a producer “Don Omar Presenta: El Pentagono” which hits stores March 27th.
