ImageThe popular reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel will perform their “Pa’l mundo” show on February 2 at the legendary Radio City Music Hall in New York City. It promises to be a historic date for reggaeton. Wisin & Yandel decided to kick off their US tour at this legendary venue after many successful performances in Latin America. The singers, who have performed in New York in the past with other artists at Madison Square Garden, assure that they won’t let fans down at their first solo concert in the Big Apple. “We’re going to give it all we’ve got in New York, a city with so much energy. It’s very important to us to give that same energy that the wonderful New York audience always gives to us,” said the artists.

It is worth noting that the “Pa’l mundo” tour started in July 2006 in Puerto Rico and has already hit Costa Rica, Guatemala, Mexico, Colombia, and Bolivia. The next stop was Altos de Chavón in the Dominican Republic, where it became the first concert of 2007 and the first reggaeton concert last Saturday. After the show in New York, the tour will go on to Venezuela and Panama, after which they’ll head for Miami to perform at the Lo Nuestro awards in Miami, where they’re nominated in the categories of Best Artist of the Year, Best Album for “Pa’l mundo,” and Best Song for “Llamé pa’verte.”

This tour also includes Chile, Peru, and Mexico and, in April, it will take them to Spain, where reggaeton has had a great reception. Finally, after Spain they’ll head back to the US to pick up the tour in Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Miami, and other cities.
